Production
Producers wear a lot of hats. They help artists to hone their material, devlop arrangements, and perfect their performance. Producers do this by being a trusted critic to the creative’s work through supportive and positive guidance. Producers also often act as musical directors for recording sessions, organizing and overseeing scheduling, recruiting the right session players, organizing and directing studio time, and helping things to get completed in a timely manner without letting the performance suffer.
Rees Shad has run professional recording studios and worked on literally hundreds of recording projects over a 40-year career.
